Butterboi is a short experience developed for a Level Design assignment at Uppsala University. The goal was to develop a level with multiple routes that utilizes the various topics we discussed in class (Landmarks, Lighting, Framing, Foreshadowing, Funneling, Breadcrumbing, Auditory Cues) in order to build a level that leads the player to the end. Restrictions were that the camera needed to be 3rd person, the game needed to be 3D, and we could not use text, dialogue, or cutscenes to guide the player out.


Controls

Butterboi controls with WASD, Space, and mouse movement to control the camera.
